Abstract

The work is a continuation of the article published in the previous issue of Matsne, in which thirteen sections of text of the Georgian Chronicles (Kartlis Tskhovreba) were corrected that were not corrected or damaged in various publications so far. In the present article, we introduce the next ten and give the correct readings of the relevant places. The very initial section of the work, up to the section called Matiane Kartlisa, is still taken as the basis of the research.
The editions that we consider when correcting the damaged sections of the text are the two academic editions of the works carried out so far - edited by Kaukhchishvili - 1955. (Below we refer to it as the 1955 edition) and with the editorship of Metreveli - 2008. (We will refer to it as the 2008 edition below).
Restoring and returning to the appropriate place the sections of the text that were thrown out or damaged, because of the carelessness of copyists over the centuries, will help to correctly understand the narrative of such complex, multi-syllabic, and information-laden works, such as the Georgian Chronicles is.
