In the book, which, although small in format, the author scrupulously approaches both the statement of facts and a deep historical and political analysis based on personal experience. The facts and analysis used in the book are accept able and understandable to the reader, emphasizing that the political and strategic elements of the Cold War are still valid today, their form has simply changed.
The structure of the book is considered in three directions: historical, review ing the conditions of the Cold War and its subsequent period, analysis - the strategic direction of Russia’s foreign and domestic policy, and the author’s personal
practical experience.
